Special Prosecutor calls on ambitious NDC MP who ‘spray money’ over corruption case
The Office of Special Counsel has invited National Democratic Congressional (NDC) candidate Ejura Sekyeredumase on an alleged corruption case againt Juliana Kinang Wassan, according to a letter intercepted by JoyNews, is among those concerned for their actions in the opposition party’s presidential and parliamentary primaries on May 13. The aspiring MP who lost to incumbent MP Muhammad Bawah Braimah was seen in a viral video standing in a car pouring money to those who pushed her down at Ahmadiya School Park, where the vote was taking place.

Juliana Wassan told reporters that she realized she had money in her car and decided to show her affection to the NDC members by sharing the money. The Special Prosecutor was attracted to this.
In a letter, the OSP said it had opened an investigation into suspicions of corruption related to his actions.
“The PSO considers you essential to the investigation.
You are required to report to the Special Counsel’s Office at 6 Haile Selassie Avenue, South Ridge, Accra on Thursday, May 18, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. for an interview.
“You may be accompanied by an attorney of your choice.”
Joy News sources said other aspirants who provided delegates with various items at polling places were invited. In a related development, police said their legal department is reviewing the video to determine if there are cases that require Juliana Wassan’s response.
