Flooding has killed more than 100 people in western and northern Rwanda
At least 109 people have been killed as flash floods and landslides have been triggered by heavy rains in the western and northern provinces of Rwanda on Tuesday, Rwandan state television said.
Authorities said they were looking for survivors. In the western provinces, the districts of Ngororero, Rubavu, Nyabihu, Rutsiro and Karongi were affected, local media reported.
