The U23 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) draw will be held on 5 May 2023 at the Mohamed VI complex in Rabat. Yesterday the Confederation of African Football (CAF) informed all participating countries of this fact. The CAF said the exact draw time would be confirmed at a later date.
The draw for this tournament, in which eight countries, including Ghana, will participate, determines the African representative at the Paris Olympics.
Ghana advanced to the finals last month after beating Algeria 2-1 on aggregate. The Black Galaxies are expected to start camping as soon as they prepare for the tournament, which runs from June 24th to July 8th.
