South Africa: suspected Bulgarian criminal and four individuals shot dead in cape town

Police force of South Africa on Thursday said four individuals suspected of being “Bulgarian” were shot dead in an upscale area in Cape Town. A criminal wanted by Interpol, Krasimir Kamenov, was among the victims, according to government and judicial sources in Sofia.

“Around 8:20 a.m., the bodies of two women and two men between the ages of 40 and 50 were discovered with gunshot wounds,” police said in a statement. “The victims are believed to be of Bulgarian descent.

The motives for the murders are still unclear, Law enforcement agents have launch investigation into the matter .
According to judicial and government sources in Sofia, Krasimir Kamenov, a master criminal who was part of Bulgaria’s organized crime circle after the fall of communism in the Balkan country, was among the victim.

This 55-year-old man is the subject of an Interpol red notice for “blackmail, murder”. His name recently returned to the top in Bulgaria after prosecutors announced the opening of an investigation against him into several murders, including the murder of a former police chief, at the end of the regime.
