30 years in politics Mahama has no single transformational policy – Bawumia

Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, says former President John Dramani Mahama has no one transformational policy to his credit score after spending over 30 years of his person existence in Ghana`s political space.

According to Dr Bawumia, the NPP not like the NDC has carried out numerous  policies that have benefitted and continue to benefit  bulk of Ghanaians.

Addressing party supporters at Mpraeso after a fitness stroll Saturday morning, the Vice President stated Mr. Mahama may be fondly remembered via way of means of Ghanaians for the energy crisis [dumsor] and the Guinea Fowls that had been in no way recovered beneathneath the SADA project.

“Do you already know that John Mahama has been in politics for a long time? Over 30 years. He has been an assemblyman, deputy minister to minister then Vice President after which President. But are you able to point out one transformational  policy that he has carried out?

“Just point out one, however there may be none, most effective Dumsor and guinea fowls, that`s all however with the NPP we’ve got mobile money interoperability, one district one factory, virtual address, free SHS, zongo constituency fund, there may be a lot we’ve got completed.”

Dr Bawumia additionally claimed that the Akufo-Addo-led government has created extra sustainable jobs than any government in Ghana`s history.

“During the NDC administration, there had been no jobs, they created unemployment in place of employment however nowadays there are jobs everywhere. I were searching on the records recently and we’ve have created 2.1 million jobs.

“975, 000 are in the private sector, 1.2 million in the public sector, that is verifiable and identifiable records that is available. We aren’t completed yet, but due to the fact that there are extra jobs for us to create. But in relation to job creation, no government from Independence has created extra jobs than the government of Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, anyone can challenge me and I will offer the records.

“But we need to do extra, we need to get to the promised land. We may be like Dubai, we can be like South Korea, we can be like Singapore, it’s miles possible.”
